More than educating your child.

Enriching your child’s life.

Whether your child is interested in athletics, the arts, or other extracurricular activities, there are so many options for your child to learn, grow, and explore after the school bell rings!

On any given day at Sager Solomon Schechter you will find...

  • a kindergarten student participating in a puppetry class,
  • a first grader learning video animation,
  • a second grader gaining new chess skills,
  • a third grader practicing acrobatics and juggling in a circus class,
  • a fourth grader learning tae kwon do,
  • a fifth grader perfecting the art of newswriting,
  • a sixth grader getting help with homework or test preparation in a free after-school tutorial,
  • a seventh grader competing in one of our many intramural or inter-scholastic athletic leagues,
  • an eighth grader rehearsing for a band concert or the annual spring musical

We also offer aftercare until 6:00 pm at two locations – our Sager School in Northbrook and the Mayer Kaplan JCC in Skokie (students are bussed there). This is a nurturing and engaging program that offers individualized homework assistance, gross motor activities, organized daily activities, and a snack.

Our Ginsburg Early Childhood Center in Skokie offers a joyful, stimulating, and nurturing programs for young children ages 2-5 from 7:30 am – 6:00 pm daily.
